I’m Christine Wright, the founder and driving force behind Omana CA Solutions.
I am a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of commercial experience in financial modelling, analysis, business planning, strategy and financial and management accounting.

My career began at Ernst & Young and has been marked by a series of impactful roles, including serving as CFO of the WMS Group and as Financial Analyst and Strategy & Planning Manager at the Lyttelton Port. For over a decade, I have successfully operated my own consulting business and thoroughly enjoy working with businesses to achieve their goals.

I excel in providing financial analysis to empower management, drive performance and guide strategic decision making. Throughout my career, I have successfully navigated the challenges of startup operations and thrived in high-growth, dynamic environments, consistently delivering results. As an accomplished CFO, I am skilled in leading teams and in collaborating with Senior Executives and Boards.

In addition to my core financial skills, I have a wealth of experience in the preparation of Business Interruption insurance claims, including major claims arising from the Canterbury and Kaikoura earthquakes. This expertise led to my engagement with the UK Financial Conduct Authority where I assisted in a major BI Test Case against insurance companies relating to Covid-19 claims.

My diverse career has given me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of what it takes to achieve and sustain success. I’ve had the privilege of working with businesses across various industries, helping them navigate the complexities of financial management and strategy.

I am a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and hold a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours from the University of Otago, where I graduated first in my class.
